Swiderski Equipment’s fourth annual Ag Technology Exploration Day welcomed nearly 120 high school juniors and seniors from a dozen area schools to our Mosinee location for a unique, hands-on learning experience. This interactive event gave students a front-row seat to see how technology is revolutionizing agriculture—from autonomous and GPS-guided equipment to data-driven decision-making and precision feed management.
Hands-On Learning in Modern Agriculture
Throughout the day, students rotated through a series of demonstration stations highlighting how technology and innovation are shaping the future of farming. Swiderski Equipment precision experts showcased cutting-edge advancements in:
- GPS & Auto-Guidance Systems
- Precision Data Solutions
- Precision Application Control
- Feed and Forage Optimization
- Equipment Diagnostics and Connectivity
Students were able to climb into equipment, test technology, and see how farmers use digital tools to increase efficiency, accuracy, and sustainability.
In addition to exploring the latest ag technology, students gained insight into the wide range of careers that power the agricultural industry. They heard directly from team members about their own career journeys, as well as about roles in precision technology, precision data management, service support, parts and sales—along with other opportunities in the industry.
Shaping the Future of Agriculture
Now in its fourth year, Swiderski Equipment’s Ag Technology Exploration Day continues to bridge education and industry, inspiring students to consider futures rooted in innovation, problem-solving, and a passion for agriculture.
“If we can inspire at least one student to consider a career in agriculture technology, we call it a success!” said Melissa Heise, Corp. Marketing & HR Director for Swiderski Equipment. We look forward to hosting students again next year!
